Ok, thanks. would this hx40 work?

Also, how about an H1E? i found one on ebay with no reserve. are they wastegated? is it a bolt on?

Will any hx40 bolt onto my truck? i have heard there are only certain ones that will bolt on.
thanks.

thats hx40 has the t-4 flange so it will not bolt up and usually the ones with the t4 had a large ex housing. the 16cm is the best one to find and will have a t-3 pattern that will bolt right to your manifold.

Ok guys, with my mods and the ground AFC foot and 3200 spring, could i get away with a 60mm compressor wheel upgrade? im really looking to break into the 350/700 range. is this just too much to ask for this turbo? i really want to upgrade, just cant find anything in my price range.
any ideas?

ya it was an h1c 16cm wastegated i thought it was an h1e but its not, why dont you get a s300 of hx40 and a 4inch exhaust and its done with, 350hp no problem, keep an eye on that bd fuel pin i sent mine back because it started to grove, they dont harden them enough

There's mixed reviews on it, but the Master Power turbo from PDR is only $550 on sale.

if you "cant afford to upgrade" then just lower your goal to a more realistic number. one you can afford. geez. this aint rocket science. costs to go fast. if you dont have coin, your sthi aint gonna fly. period. instead of saying, "i am gonna do 350/750, and do it with what $$ i have...ask, "how much can i make with this much money"? i think you can use the stock turbo and get 325 or so, which is almost what you are trying to upgrade to

i think you kind of answered a question that was rattling around in my head the last little while ;

at what horsepower level do things go from fairly inexpensive ( mostly modified stock parts , bhaf , big exhaust / exhaust housing ) to moderately expensive ( bigger injectors , bigger turbo , ic or bigger ic ect... ) ?
