some 2 cents worth

i dont think the a1000 is a big enough pump you need the next size up (part#11104) that will give you the full pressure and flow needed to make the most HP, a holly wont give long term and its made for a gasser pressure not enough pressure for us, besides aeromotive and a very expensive barry grant pump, i dont know of any other pumps that will give us the pressure and flow

Second a hx55 is a nice turbo but i dont think its big enough, i dont think a ht60 is big enought to make the 800hp (i think thats going to be my down side)

and a gt 40 isnt big enough either that was my first choice in turbo but it wounldt cut it, but a nice gt60r would be an awsome turbo, that going to be my next upgrade,

yes KTA we know your the original guru but i think you goind to be getting off the king of the castle seat very soon, LOL

as long as your running good pressure and have it boost refrance so it goes up pound for pound it will work well so start at 20psi the as you biuld boost it goes up, and buy the time your at 50pounds of boost you at max fuel pressure

you guys should wait to do the c clip wring i am getting a spesial spring loaded seal that dosnt need a retaner and its good for 7500rpm at 200+ psi

a stock ve seal might be able to hold 25-psi at the max, if you have a costom seal you can go up to 60 to 65 psi with out the pump granading
75 is max, and ford might be right that 40 to 50 psi might be enough i will test that on a dyno

and a good cam is needed to get the high hp numbers

Yall crack me up, you havent even done 400rwhp on a dyno yet and already you are thinking you will be 800+rwhp. I am just waiting to have to hit the spray button to show yall what I really got. ;) LOL Good luck to all the new kings to be!! maybe ;-)

I have to agree - there isnt a single dyno backup or performance run to suggest anyone (other than KTA or Swank or a few others who dont speak up much), is more than benchracin so far

I dont care what hp I make, I jus wanna put the run on sum p-p's

Can we get back to how to do that?

Thanx

I highly recommend the Aeromotive 11104 pump, thats what I have, and it has lasted quite a while with no issues. It also will provide for anymore fuel I want to add in the future. :D

seeker asked:

Has anyone investigated different ratio rocker arms? What is the current ratio on a stock Ve motor? Are the newer motors the same ratio? One can make quite a flow difference with slightly more rocker ratio.

KTA wrote:
Stock is 1.66 ratio, as are all 12valve.

Cams - I doubt at this level one might be necessary to get the job done but I am open to any suggestions.
A good cam like my torque monster series offers more bang for your buck than custom longer rocker ratio rockers will. But...

i think the stock ratios are 1.66 and 1.6 or 1.6 and 1.5? cant remember for sure but i know they are diff intake and ex

i am with you seeker - get something with a more aggressive ratio and bam, you have the lift w/o the duration (which is what i think works with turbo diesel motors)

tank

oh, and any one of the fuel pumps will last forever....

if ya never start the motor

lol

holley sucks so hard, i am almost glad they are going under (plenty of used dominators around and that is all i ever thought they were good for anyways)

My old boss used to say:
It's usually the quiet ones who get it done. The guys who run their mouths usually can't cut it! ;)

No offense intended to anyone here, I know you guys are trying, we're watching!

What was it Ben franklin said about the lightbulb - I found 2000 ways that done work, or sum such
How many people thought hisexperiments were wierd or impossible

We'd be still runnin round with candles if it werent for impossible ideas and research

So back to beatin the heck outa a p-p

I still aint heard no total "recipe" so to speak

We have some turbo ideas ( what about garret, or sum of the other manufacturers) , sorta fuelpump and supply ideas, cams, and i have no idea what a 24 valve sounds like in order to set my timing lmao,

Anything else out there - even wild and perposterous ideas?

Once you get your fuel system on including the big injectors all you need is a good nitrous system, its worth 100+rwhp easy.
For a cheap twin setup you can get Schwitzer 169417 s300 for the bottom turbo ($700), and 171702 S400 for the top($650). That setup can support 500-800hp.
How is that for some ingredients. 8)

I love it however we are not alowed nitrous or any other accelerant in the pullin classes
I am lookin seriously at the s300g however so far lowest price I found is $865 and the s400 is over $900 but then i dont know where the best places are to look - Brian you got sources I could go to?
I was just wonderin about maybe a ballbearing GT 35r or Gt 38r cuz ball beairngs spool better
