I think thats what I'll do...

You say the 71 is for teh 400 up guys. IS the 65 gonna suck at my 400-425 goal? I'm not really worried about towing or anything.. just a pulling truck

With your POD injectors I don't think that is going to be an issue.

Buy it and run it and see how you like it. If you need a little more later on, places like High Tech Turbo can upgrade the turbo for you with the larger turbine wheels and housings.

Did I see a picture of this truck in a diesel magazine recently?

I have tried many setups on my duallie but have almost no dyno sheets to prove them. 2 years ago I dynoed with stock cam, pods, maxed 12mm pump, piston lp, 57mm S300, ported head, 47rh auto, and made 337rwhp. Since then I added a bunch of other stuff (see sig) and the cam really seemed to help out. I can't coment on the cam change only because so many things were done at once but the cam makes a difference on the top end for sure. As a 64/71/14 S300 owner I would recommend going with the 62/71/14 because of its ability to work well as a part of the twins. I wish that's what I had done. Oh well that's why I got more then one 1st gen, hand me downs. LOL.

How much difference will I see in running a silver bullet compared to a Super Phat Shaft. The bullet is a 62/74/14 and teh phat shaft is a 62/71/14

Gonna be a whole lot slower to spool? I am sure it will be slower but by how much is the question.

Thanks

Whats the price difference between the 62/71 and the 62/74? The 62/74 will spool slower, but I would but the cheaper turbo, because it won't be that big of a difference. Ideally, I would go with the 62/71/14.

I would recommend that you purchase the 62/71/14. The 74 wheel im pretty sure will surge a little in the lower rpm especially when pulling heavy. The larger turbine wheel will also create more lag and Im not positive but pretty sure the 71mm is a better choice for the twins in the future as well.
