Were you using the Hellman sump? If so, how low could you get the tank before slosh made you lose pressure? I have my airdog mounted kinda low but not lower than the tank. The filters on it drop below the frame rail a couple inches. Thanks for the input!!

After contacting Pureflow Technologies, they had me do a couple things to test it. Did the bucket test, and also dropped the tank to ensure the draw straw fittings were all sealed. Took the cover off the gears inside. Looked ok inside, but the wear mark on the cover was a half moon instead of a full circle. Indicates that the tolerances inside the gear housing are not correct. After putting the cover back on, it would not draw fuel. Had to put a little oil in the gear housing to take up the air gaps in it and then it would draw fuel. Still pulsates and still super noisy. Called again on Monday, and my new warranty pump arrived on Friday. Charlie (the owner) told me straight up that they had had some serious quality control issues during the time my pump was made. Said he was having health issues and could not be around to run his company. Got better, came back and fired some people and says the new pumps are much better and I won't have this problem again. I got the new pump on yesterday. It pumps a very steady 17-18 psi (depending on outside temperature) and it very quiet compared to the old one. No pulsating at all. Gauge comes up when you turn it on, and stays there. I can drop it about 1 psi with my 190 injectors on a hard pull. It is a different motor design than my old one. I am very happy with this new pump and the customer service. Always got to talk with some one when I called, and they were helpful and after we decided it was a bad pump, there was no messing around with warranty cards or such. Just sent me a new one. I got a new clutch and a getrag rebuild kit, (very very poor now) so I have not had the funds to get the tank sump yet, but after I do, I think this will be a great fuel setup.
