First hook

33" tires 3:50 gear walked it out to 3800 rpm in first gear, held 3450 rpm for rest of pull in second gear

placed 5th in ten trucks, takin it easy on its maiden run, we ran 264' against a 268' win

truck worked perfectly - it was an awesum hook - and as soon as i figure out how to load video on photobucket I will link it as about 20 people filmed it for us

Nice job! 4 feet out of first is a good maiden voyage I'd say.

Sounds like with another 50hp you would easily be out in front!! 8)

I think we may have enough hp as we didnt even git into it until about a 100' out, and when the turbo hit, it blew away the 33/15.5 wide tires instantly

if we dont I still have two full turns on the fuel screw

;) :P :D ;-)

I don't know your alls dirt and tracks but I do know here a 35x12.5 will out pull a 33x15 or 16". The longer footprint is superior to the wider one.

you might be right but Idont have enough gear yet for 35's of which I have 12:50's and 15:50's but I think I will need 4:11's for that

Most of our tracks are very sticky hard clay

the track we ran on Sunday though was 2" of screenings, on top of clay so hard we were layin rubber with all four tires once we burned down the 2"

like skating

but we were competitve against two serious p-pump dodges, an 11 sec duramax, a 700hp Ford, and a couple who werent talkin bout what they had, and a very well done cr

I am very pleased with our maiden shakedown run
