Just about any convertor will gain you MPGs.
BUT, if you are doing a lot of stop and go, short trips, and your engine never warms up, your MPG will go through the floor. I'm 100mi behind what I normally am on this tank (just below the 1/4mark), but I have a 6 block commute, and it's been 3 weeks since I filled up last.
