redneckroot and mr nixon, thank you for pointing out some stuff. yous have made some good points and i dont think i wanna rebuild this motor as it sits. there is nothing wrong with it whatsoever right now, just turn up the wick and some simple stuff and leave it at that, just wanting to find another motor to build up and have some fun with, and will be completely checked over and completely built with turbos and everything before dropped into the truck, even possibly fired on a stand to tune out bugs before it goes into the truck. thanks for all the information and help guys
