I do understand the trust thing. When I get a new customer they act like I've stole from them aready. I have to prove to them that I do what I say.
I just thought that the price was way high and really still do.
That shop that I talked about is good and have cut the price for me a lot in the past. I bought PStroke injectors for 55$ a piece last week and I have a VP44 to swap out. I get NO breakes on those. That thing cost me 1200 then the 80 for the low pressure light kit.

We use Mylex internatinal formerly known as nozzle recon a lot at work. We have never had a problem they didn't take care of. They will also fix your pump instead of doing an exchange and sometimes that is cheaper if your pump is decent. If it is wore out and needs new camplates and a head then you would have been better off to exchange it.

1989 w250 Cummins Recon Engine, rebuilt 727 torqueflite, BD diesel torque converter, 4" diamond eye turbo back straight pipe side exit, fuel pin turned, starwheel in, smoke screw in, full power fuel screw tweaked a little bit. Black Betty is held together by rust and american pride!

To me that's just a reseal and not a rebuild. A true rebuild would in addition get new pump vanes, a new set of rollers, and a new cam plate at the minimum.
