I'm going to (hopefully) be getting a new turbo and 4-inch downpipe soon, so I didn't plumb it cause I don't want to do it twice. Besides, it's more hillbilly this way, it'll give the readers a good laugh :D

That is the main reason I buy the book.No rust bucket,no Diesel Power.Waaaay too many new trucks in that mag. This business owner has the $80 000 crew cab, dumped another $20 000 into it, it has custom paint, rims, and two chips.Over and over and over,I used to buy every issue, but now I only buy it if there is somethin old in it.Project 6.9 is more interesting to me then some new truck with a chip or programmer.I guess that means us 1st genners should be tryin harder to get in the book.Or are we?I'd love to see a full article on ol yellow...and put a locker in thr rust bucket so I can see how it is done please! And yes,any Diesel Power is better than no Diesel Power.

There is one thing I don't like about Diesel Power. It seems more trucks that have high rwhp numbers in there are "Nitrous Powered."

A lot of times the fuel only numbers aren't even in the magazine, and when I see a 1000+rwhp truck on the cover, only to find out it's 600rwhp on fuel, I skip the article.

Other than that, good magazine.

I think Diesel Power (or turbo manufacturers) should sponsor you a new turbo.How bout a turbo comparison,say an Aurora 3K,Silver 62,GT4088R,BD Super B,Super 40,and an S300.(With big injectors)It'd be a few days work,but it'd be a heck of a good story! :D

I hear ya guys on the nitrous stuff. That's why it's one more run for me on the bottle, then I'm going to try to crack 400 fuel only. Should be interesting in an auto.

As for trucks making big HP without nitrous, our annual Diesel Power Challenge is coming up, there were some pretty nasty trucks there!!

Why you think it will be interesting with an auto?

A Non Lock up auto, even with a good converter saps a lot of power.

Yup, 22% slip rate so far at the power peak (2600 rpm) Need more RPM, so the converter will become more efficient!

I think diesel power is by the far the best diesel mag out there, most of the other mags spend 2 pages on the sound system and about 2 sentences on performance mods. It frosts me to see these huge lifted pickups with paint jobs and all that, and then all they have is a chip, intake and exhaust. Diesel Power at least does a lot of features on sled pullers drag racers and built diesels in general. Keep up the good work DP.
