Performance mods for a rock buggy? BACK FROM THE DEAD!

Well.....it's been a long time, but I'm finally making some progress on this thing. I need to get on here more often, and I'm definitely going to need help from you guys when I start to put the engine back together. Here's a couple pics of its current state:

I built the rear uprights to mimic a 40's-50's stepside box. I have an old Dodge tailgate that I'm going to cut down for the rear panel.

Hey Bryan! Probably not this year. Devin and Beth just had a baby boy, and Devin is planning a new sami bodied buggy build.

Yeah, but just time consuming chassis stuff. The rear half of the truck is mostly done though.
