So it sounds like a 14mm pump is very livable on a daily driver with the right sized injectors? That is good news to me.

There are quite a few running around, and they all have a few things in common...

1.Big fuel supply with lots of pressure
2.Big Injectors (or at least medium)
3.Less than 4000rpm

I know Jayers, BGilbert, KTA, STOMP, and a few others have been running them for quite a while with no issues. There's probably a dozen or so other trucks in KTA's area who run 'em, but don't do the internet thing.
Don't run the 4mm camplate with them either, they break. :D

Alright guys, I am back in business with my first gen. I just sold my Duramax, and have some $$$ earmarked for the 89. Plans are a locker, Cal-Tracs, bumped (back) timing so I can spool, a bunch of weight in the rear bumper, and some way to control the nitrous. I'll keep you guys posted!

Also still driving around with the 14mm head. Still doing fine :D

STOMP just said he's going after me, so it looks like I need plans for 1,000 :D

I've seen a lot of people be interested in making 400-500hp with a 12mm VE, and that rocks.

I've also seen people asking about 14mm pumps, and that's good too. Haven't seen a thread about reliability issues in a while. And, you can hit 600-700hp, with about the same $$$ as a p-pump swap.

Hopefully running some fast times will help get the attention of the performance community again! 8)

I'd think 30 horse at that level might be hard to come up with. Got any plans that can be shared? :D
