I just bought a used s472.and have a chance to buy a slightly uses 57/65/14 turbo off a friend for 250$.would this be sufficient enough? Would love an input from rccummins

Damn near perfect combo. The 57/65 is an S300, correct?

"S300G" It's frame is smaller than a normal-sized S300 somehow, that's how I got into this mess with my 62. Normal S300 housings won't fit on it.

a 57/65/14 over an s472 is as good as a combo gets.
89 RC on shortened 92 diesel frame - NV4500 w/dual disc/4.10s on 37s. - Self built pump, "hot screw", lots of timing, True high volume low pressure lift pump, 62fmw/68/.7gated, 77lpm SAC Inj., Studs/O-rings,- 423/1220 Mustang - 11/16/2013 http://www.TheHungryDiesel.com full line dealer, if you don't see it please ask.

Does he have a kit for 1st gens yet? Last spring I contacted him when he was still in Connecticut and he wanted $1200 and my truck for a week because he didn't have a jig for a 1st gen and needed to build it on the truck.
