I don't know who owns that truck, but I think they live fairly close to me. I've seen it drive by a few times.

I think we should both start carrying around a couple extra 30amp fuses so we can help a brother out when he's sitting on the side of the road.

Or a fire extinguisher judging by that giant red wire going into that puppy.

Boom, baby!!

Just in case you guys haven't seen enough pics of my POS being disassembled:

Image

Image

Here's a comparison of the cowbell to the new middlecooler. It's the same height, but it doesn't have the horribly warped base plate. I hope I don't lose any white trash points from having a level sealing surface on my intake.

Image

Here she is mounted. It'll be coming back out for some paint, probably DD Green since that's getting scarce under there with all the flat black popping up. 8)

(I got a boot pic in there for the creeps on here.) ;)

Jeez, that's a low blow. All this impressive progress on the Dodge and that's what you ask about? :P

The RC is currently sitting in the yard far outside of my phone's zoom capabilities. It's still gutted, with no front clip, and waiting for a complete swap fron the Dodge but I'm not about to go through the hassle of the swap with an engine that's not running right. I'll sort it out in the Dodge so it keeps greasy fingerprints to a minimum on the RC's body.

Also, the bodyman quoted me $4500 for a complete repair and repaint on the body. Seemingly a decent deal, but not something I'm willing to spring for right now so it's not that high of a priority.

Now quiet down and appreciate the fact that I turned a wrench on the Dodge.

Somebody, I haven't had any confessions yet, threw away the flange that connects the pipe to my middlecooler. I went ahead and marked the hole out, but after my last failure with 3" pipe I'm gonna go ahead and wait until my 2.5" V-band flange shows up. I'll throw one half on the lathe and turn an o-ring groove in it, then have a pipe welded straight to it and only have one silicone coupler on the compressor outlet. It's a 3" outlet, but there just isn't room for it to squeeze into that 'cooler so I'm gonna have to reduce it...

Yes, I'll straighten the edges out on it as well. No matter what Hineman (and apparently Pete) tells you, I'm not that ghetto. :P

The twins are going to stick around for now. This housing swap wont require any changes besides the piping which i am changing for the new middlecooler anyways. I'll get this all done, make sure there's no boost or drive leaks, then if they still won't work I'll sell them off and get a single 64 or 66. I'd like to jump up to a T4 setup to take advantage of the cam and porting, but since my Steed is a T3 foot I'm kinda stuck here.

work." This was day two, I cleared out my previous 12 pack last night...

"Oh gee, Levi, why in the world did you ever like that bike better than your old Dodge?" I dunno, but I know I could completely disassemble the engine on that thing and not look like this:

That's nowhere near the best view of all the Nev-R-Seize, but my hand looked stupid with that view...
