You can't have a budget for 450 to 500. It will take several thousand bucks.

are you looking for 450-500 or are you looking for "not much." These are two completely different things. Budget will get you 250hp.

First thing buy your self some guages, Is your truck an auto or stick? Fill out you Sig so we know what were working with.

After guages If you have an auto put a good converter in it. then after you get that done you can start doin the usuall performance stuff.

To fill out your sig go to "user control panel" then go to "profile" then "edit signature".

If you got a Denny T pin don't waste your time with the afc delete. You didn't mention anything about a 3200 rpm spring, get one of those and the dynamic timing spacer. Also advance your base timing, depending on how you use the pickup don't go too far or you'll lose some low end power. Concentrate on your supporting mods before you try making big power. You lots of airflow and a drivetrain that'll hold up, otherwise you're wasting your time and risking severe damage that'll need repair taking away from your go-fast fund. Set your trans up right and it'll net you more power at the wheels. Guys build a hot motor first and say I'll drive easy til I get a good drivetrain. They dont
