Have you clearanced the top of your AFC housing yet? There's a couple little bosses that stick down around the smoke screw that won't let the pin come all the way up.

If you feel like knocking them off it may be a free way for you to get the pin riding on an even shallower part of the ramp.

$5

I'm gonna have to open up a trailer shop too in order to get that kind of deal. I get raped apparently for what I pay for my AFC springs.

So how do you swap out the slide pin anyways? I thought I was buying a longer stock fuel pin, lol.

You have to remove the afc top. It's pretty strait forward from what I've researched. I have to do the same here soon. My seal started leaking on me.

Ya.. the 4 top screws....then remove the afc lever and you can get to the slide pin. I thought you knew what the longer slide pin was.... You can send it back if you'd like I'll pay for the return shipping as well as the refund.

I've got a slow leak in my AFC due to that o ring. I've smacked as hard as I dare on that pivot pin for the AFC lever, but I think I'm doing something wrong. Is there a Youtube video on this out there? That'd be really helpful.

I know what it is now, but when I bought the stuff, I thought it was a longer fuel pin. I misread it. I'm not sure I want to mess with the lever though. I don't like to get too deep into the pump in fear of messing it up. I can do the AFC spring no problem though. That's easy!

If you feel comfortable taking the pump top off, then it is extremely easy from there.

If it would be easier than messing with it. I'll send you a return label on Monday, then refund the longer slide pin. FYI, that should show up Monday.

Yep I got it. I got the spring in and it helps but like I said in my PM, my shift points are still way too soon, and thats bogging the motor, causing it to smoke too. One of these days I will get to that too.
