how much can the stock head bolts handle. with my hx35w i can get about 44 psi of boost. and were can you get them and i here some say they have to drill and all this other $@!%. dont want to have to go threw all that but..

Traditional thinking says that the stock headgasket with stock headbolts can safely hold 40 +/- 5 PSI.

There are two sizes of head studs; 12 mm and 14 mm. 14 mm ones have better clamping force, but they are the ones that require drilling and tapping. Few people have enough pressure to take full advantage of them anyways.

Two companies that I know of who sell stud kits are Haisley machine and ARP.
