dont confuse the amount of oil a 3/8" oil "feed" line can supply with the amount of oil comin out the other side of the turbo through a couple thou bearing clearance!!!

how did i get over here from the twins oiling thread?????

Pix - why would I wanna post pix of an oil return line you cant hardly see so you can see a piece of reinforced hose on a T.

I am not here to debate wether you agree or not - pull your own drain line and stick it in a bucket n see for yurself - in flows capability on a 3/8" line , n out flows through a bearing are NOT the same. Period.

Oh... I was under the impression that you somehow managed to blow oil all over your engine compartment...

Begle- I did that on my last turbo swap. Lost 2 gallons of oil in about 30seconds. Used the Dakota to go get more, and extended my drain interval 3000mi. Hey, 2/3 of my oil was brand new, so why not?

That's how I learned! I put in my pyro, without the turbo. I put the hose in the return line and started it to blow out chunks. It blew out all right! The hose reared up and coated the fender in 2.3 seconds! I only lost about 2-3 qts though. Wow,

I was working on my oil pressure sender hose once with the engine running and blew it. It covered my face, that side of the engine compartment, and a lot of my garage wall. :x Now I know what oil tastes like. Also gives a whole new meaning to getting a facial.
