DDP vs PODs

Postby rbrettctd » Sun Sep 30, 2007 1:58 pm

I found a good deal on some stage 4 ddp's. Im wanting bigger injectors in the future anyways. Will these run cooler than my pods with the same pump setting? How do they compare smoke and power wise as well? Thanks.

EDIT: Ive searched and seen the other threads on the subject but none comparing these 2 actually.

pods are 4x14 (.000615")

stg IV's are 5x14 (.000769")

so, they are 25% bigger than your pods. more fuel is gonna be more smoke when you have your leg in it

they are of better design however...

what are you calling a "good deal"?

$650 IRC,and they are brand new.

thats a good deal in comparison to Piers anyway. But, I really just need more air right now, and I need to save my money for my air to water intercooler setup. Dang power bug keeps biting me and wont let go.

The ddp 4s will idle cleaner and smoke a little more, but can easily be controlled by your foot. Egt's are a little more but again, can be controlled. The egt and smoke difference is not as great as going from stock to PODs.
