Under my single cab truck there is a brace that supports the bed right where my 90 came up I just cut a half circle on it and ran the pipe. I don't know about frame pieces tho. hope it helps. If need be I can possibly lay under the truck and take a pic of how mine is if i find time.

Personally, I hate stacks. But if I were to do them, I would use some elbows to go around the crossmembers/reenforcements, thru the bed, another 90* toward the front bed wall, into cross over box/Y/whatever you have. If you have a tool box it will hid this nicely. Somebody had pics of this setup, but I duon't remember who.

Anti-stacker!

Run a 90 to the outside of frame, 1 up into the box, missing all members. Then you can use square tube, pipe or whatever to hook up inside. I have a diverter valve on my D250, and the 90 comes right off the valve under the frame, then up into my 4" square tube. I do have a flatbed though. My buddy did his 3rd gen with 2 90's like this, then set his square tube up on legs so he can haul plywood and 'rock.

That's why I have the valve, 2 positions, up or smoke 'em!
Actually, it's for hauling the camper or gooseneck, so stuff stays cleaner. Quiet on long trips too, muffler in tailpipe circuit.

We built a set with a piece of 4"x8" square tubing and just welded the 4" collar right above the exhaust (under the bed). Then flex it right up into the 4" welded collar. Since we used 8" wide tubing we were able to set the inlet back and the stacks forward. P.S. don't forget to do a leak test before you cut the stack openings. We just filled it with water from the inlet side.

Wade, that's a good idea! 4x8 is kinda expensive isn't it?

Thanks. Not at C Henry Steel in Fort Wayne. It's second hand steel and it's .30 a pound now. Also any scrap metal buyer depots will let you come in and torch out what you want for around .25 per pound.

so you used the 4x8 to move the exhaust back to the end of the cab? wouldnt that really mess up your flow? i was thinkin maybe 2 pieses of flex exhaust. have Y come up past the member, then run the flex on each Y exit, to the stacks..

I've tried everything. I can not handle these computers but I CAN WELD! Copy and paste the darn url there in your address bar and click on my albumn. That is as good of a picture I could get you without driving to the truck that has the stacks.
