How much hp could be made with a 190. If it could be possible to put out 400 horse with a smaller injector and get good fuel mileage this might be may key to success for my dialy driver muscle truck.

About the smallest injector that will still make 400 is the 370hp ( 5x.012 ). Your not going to get 400 from a 190.

How much power could a 190 injector put out? Is it hard on the internals of the injection pump? I imagine they have a pretty high pressure to pop to get a better spray, so it would make the injection pump work harder.

You're going to be going through alot of FSS plungers if you stay with a small injector and a turned up pump.

So some of the bigger injectors are not as hard on the FSS with the pump cranked ? ?

interesting i did not know this.....John how long does your FSS last with your injectors ? ? ?

i'm not really a fan of the cable but my truck eats FSS's

My injectors may not be as big as the PO said....maybe i need to pull one and see.

I haven't had an fss plunger go bad yet. I ran the old DDP4's (5x13) and what I run now. From what I have read it happens to setups that run stock injectors and cranked pumps.

Yup, and it happens when you let off too fast. If you can remember to ease off the throttle, it won't do it. It's the backwash from the sudden stoppage of fuel that does it.

i'm someday gona get it where you get in and turn the key.

Of corse somebody may want to barrow it then.........hhhmhmmmmmmm..................what a quandree i'm in.

I found out that pieces of the fuel shutoff solenoid plungers like to lodge in delivery valves.

Grave digging....
So if POD's have an area of .000707 Then by my calculations the next step up would be a 6X.014", .0009235.
Sound about right?

6x13's are just a touch bigger than what you're running now, custom injectors of course

I would really like a set of 6x.013"s. Who makes custom tips?
