Guys have problems with the stock water pumps overpressurizing and blowing out freeze plugs?

How common of a problem is that? I've never heard of it.
1990 D-250 Regular Cab: Tweaked injection pump, built transmission, a cataclysmic charlie foxtrot of electronics, the most intense street-ran water injection system in the country, and some more unique stuff.

I think you only need to worry about it if you are turning over 4 k. Regularly. :wink:
