If you still have these they are reletively easy to set up, I've installed more then a few between my personal vehicles and customers'. I can help you design a setup that actually uses the exhaust brake function and has in cab adjustability.

For functioning EB, boost must be used to open the housing using a stock wastegate actuator (or similar). There is simply a linear actuator added to be used as an adjustable stop for how far the spring in the WG actuator can pull the housing shut. This allows full range of adjustment, from inside the cab, for how "big" the housing is at it's starting point before boost can push it further open via the WG actuator. By full range I mean full range, usually EB to full open and anywhere in between using a DPDT momentary switch to control the linear actuator.

One thing I have noticed with setting up trucks for full effect EB, the WG actuator needs to be slightly lighter then a stock HX35 unit. Otherwise it takes too much boost to open the housing and it will, for a moment, choke the engine out. However, if EB isn't needed to work to it's full potential, I prefer to run cooled/filtered drive pressure to a stock WG actuator. This has proven to be a VERY responsive set up and much easier to find the sweet spots for your driving style. Either set up is nice to have a drive pressure guage for, just to see what the turbo is doing on the hotside :)
