I have never used them, no connection, but you might check them out.

Is this process usually expensive ?.
Seems very intro quite and very precise, and specialized.

Depends on who does it and their machine and the process they use. There is wet material and dry material. Industrial Injection can do it and they can flow sticks over 85% and more. Problem is being able to control each individual hole. Xiergy also does it.... it isn't uncommon for most shops to run $300 for it, mainly because they have the "newest" in technology that allows them open them up farther. The main idea behind flow honing is to make a finish and not to open them up beyond a certain point.

They are the common ones for the Common Rail stuff. There are other/more affordable companies to get flow hone work through. The "big name" shops that do the newer stuff (cp3) have a tendency to be very expensive and don't have the same understanding as the ones that specialize in 12 valve injection.
