Good point...... bigger wheel doesn't equate more air. The technology of the wheel means a lot.

if you have the 26cm on the ht3b a 57mm should be a fine match.

the 60mm compressor is likely the 60mm used in the john deere turbos and is about 70lbs/minute.

I agree with other who posted above that it is likely that you have your wastegate set too high and it is making the top turbo not light as fast. If you are WG the 57mm top turbo higher than 25psi then try lowering it to 25psi and go up from there.

I had to get a BD adjustable waste gate installed, but I have messed with the waste gate on the 357.

I've gone back to this turbo as a single. Does anyone know what I should set the waste gate at for it? I'm thinking 42-45 psi. I have head studs and 60 lb valve springs installed.

You should try to get a map for it and see where it's still efficient and gate it to that. Why'd you ditch the Ht3b?

I was never really happy with it, the install wasn't so clean, the transmission was at max temperature most of the time, I'm going back to near stock. I might be replacing the truck in about 6 months with a payment.

I don't know how to read maps. I was just hoping for a ballpark number from someone with experience with this turbo.

I'm back to this turbo as a single and I think I'm going to like it. It obviously doesn't have the top end without the HT3B, but up to 75-80 it's satisfying enough. I must of had a crazy tailwind tonight bringing it back from the shop because I got 25.63 mpg over 75 miles. It can't be. I will have to drive some more to get another reading. It's running a little on the hot side too as I haven't adjusted the full power screw yet, and I think it's gating at 28 psi.
