I have a Borg Warner S357

Postby The_Head » Wed May 01, 2013 2:38 pm

Can I get a bigger compressor wheel for it like you can for the H1C? I'd like to go 60mm. I think there's a gap in between when my S357 dies and the HT3B comes on, so I am willing to give up a little low end spool to help fix it.

I don't have the part number for the turbo, but I can get it if that helps

Aaaaaaactually, it can. From my (Still unfinished) dealings I've been told that the D-tech turbos are S300g's with bigger wheels stuffed in them. That's why their such a PITA to get housings and stuff for.

That being the case, I doubt those cats are going to be letting wheels and housings go, if you can even find anything about their actual company to inquire.

As I said, my sthi still isn't back or anything, but I know for a fact that those D-tech's cartridges are too small for a normal S300 housing and that dude got me one, it was just a mm or so too small for the inducer.

What sort of parts lead those D-tech cats have with Borg I can't say, but that dude got that housing from Borg and had it punched out for my wheel.

Yep.......... that problem is usually because of the exhaust side of things.
