as far as far as leaf springs go nothing compares to deavers especialy wheb you get the custom ones you get a lot of travel and the spring rate is perfect unlike a lot of the other shocks out there they are always way to stiff and ride like sthi deaver springs also have progressive leafs and leafs for half tons and below which you can pull upwards of 18 inchs of travel out of. that disapoints me kno more one ton springs I am 3 linking the front with coilovers but now I won't be able to find anything for the back that will be good at all

aaron, the springs dont have the correct size ends on them

they dont have the correct id bushings either

it is kind of a joke and a nightmare all at the same time...

i dont know about that....

these springs, on a 3/4 ton truck, with the drop pit man arm and adj drag link, and a set of ladder bars, would be a really, really nice set up

shoot...

even w/o a block in the back, at 400 hp the rear end is gonna try to twist

i smoked another common rail yesterday

this one was for sale

the guy was all braggin about it (really, really nice truck) (over 60k inv)

it had EVERYTHING - 7 tv's, sat dish, 22.5 rims with big rig tires, two tone after market paint job, superchip, banks, etc stickers on the back

he was all, "you have to test drive it to appreciate it"

so i drove it...

then, i told him, "i tell ya what, lets go out there and line em up, your built common rail against my 15 yr old pile, and you can show my how much faster this new technology is"

SMOKED HIM

3 out of 3

after the last one he pulled up next to me and said,

"well, i guess yours is faster than mine"

lol

was priceless

That's another reason i like the first gen, They make a heck of a sleeper truck, and since they don't lope like a big cammed gas car, the eng don't give up the potential until the skinny peddle is applied and there jaw drops

Unfortunately my truck is,...... well, still asleep............some day i will surprise a fue... ;)

beatin on 24v trucks is sooo fun i really like to pass the in 4th with the rears spinnin away i think it kinda scares them a little. no lope??? get some .120 lines and it will sound like a pro stock tractor lol. don your truck looks great but i think i am only goin with 3 inch and some 33 13.50 boggers try and keep it where i can still sled pull and drag race and thats kinda hard to do on 38's.
