you mighta thought it looked good like that but it was on the bump stops and you couldnt talk or drink coffee or keep food down while driving it around los angeles. i think duallies are supposed to be lowered and 4 by's are possed to be lifted

but that is just my opinion

in the process of putting a reg bed on it and painting the whole thing - either that or remove the bed and build fenders and make it like a big rig tractor

how about you post some pix of yours?

i didnt know the 6" would clear 38's that good makes it look nice i think thats what i will do to mine. why run gasser springs in the front? smoother ride?

well, skyjacker (pretty much the only company with off the shelf springs for 1st gens) does not sell springs for the cummins per say

so what the do is they give you the gasser springs but subtract 2" off the advertised lift

they dont sell springs at all for the 1 ton (even tho they say they do) but that is a whole other topic

so my front springs say 8" on them but with the extra 500 or so pounds that the diesel weighs, over a small block mopar, they effectively only lifted it 6 or 7"

but that would be 6 or 7" from stock and my truck was no wheres near stock ht anymore

it sucked cuz i drove up to deever spring (the company that made me 12" springs for my 1976 440 truck) and they wont do them anymore

too bad cuz those were really really nice springs and these SUCK

if you search over at tdr you can read all about the skyjunker springs
