afc spring

Postby warhammer92 » Thu Aug 01, 2013 10:25 am

What would changing my afc spring to a stiffer one cause. Would hit help clear up some of my low end smoke.would I see a gain or loss in boost?
I'm still trying to learn so I like asking questions

Talk to RCcummins, he sells a stiffer spring and has done some testing.

A stronger afc spring will slow your fueling down.

It controls your fueling from a minimum boost situation up to full boost. It does nothing for 0 boost situation............only a 2-3psi on up to full boost fueling.

Does that make sense?

It's a "wave redux" style of spring.........It's a pretty neat little design. 8)
