What does Bill use the truck for? you dont think you can use that big of a turbo. I am tearing the motor down this winter, I would like to stay with the VE pump. I need input on low comp pistons, cam and so on. Just pulling with the truck thanks

i wonder how the map for a pro 52 compares to one for a 66/71 or 66/75?

that is one big turbo - i think he just uses the truck for playing

you know what i mean?

he likes to beat up on high school kids like josh ayers...

lol

i dont have any experience with pulling trucks but for drag racing motorcycles the guys that are running stock heads they stick with '84 gpz cams (256° @ .050" - .385" lift). those were the biggest stock cams that kawi made. by stock head i mean a head that came on a bike stock. obviously they all port them and put larger valves in.

the guys using after market heads use more cam than the stockers, but the turbo bikes dont want a bunch of camshaft.

the gpz cams are good for low 7's

to go high to mid 6's you need aftermarket head and cams

i know that a turbo gas motor is way different than a diesel, but i think the princible may be the same when it comes to cams (turbo motors dont need a bunch cuz they dont rev very high)

way different concept between gas and deisel. i run a 670-755 lift 328 346 duration 115 lsa in my turbo small block s 10. i dont think a cummins would like anything near that. and i steped up from last years cam and gain aound 20whp so sometimes bigger is better now if i could just get a lasting turbo
