So what if it was bigger, say 7x16 or 7x20. Then would the 7s be better atomization then 5s for are low rpm pumps?

Well..... obviously haven't tested them, but it seems from customer's reviews that the bigger 7 hole injectors are just a smoke show down low. I've seen dyno videos and have tried to help people tune their 7x12 and 7x14 injectors and it seems that one can't get rid of the ridiculous low end fueling and then it still tapers off quickly up top.

but then again.... I have never ran the larger sizes. Because, I would think it would work just fine.

Ok, just kicking ideas around for my 14mm. I want something with power for the pulls but limited smoke on the street.

I'd stay away from a 7 hole injector for a 14mm h/r. The more the fuel is broken up, the more back pressure it creates. So in the end... the fuel can only get broken up so much and keep the pump alive.

Digging this one back up :)

But!...... With a twist :)

How do the 7 hole injectors work with the p7100 pumps? What would make them more appealing to run with it?

I know that the p pump produces higher pressures but kind of lost on how the injector would do under it's pressures.
Would the cold idle haze be as prevalent with the p pumps 265bar pop pressures? How about timing with the two paired?

I'm honestly not 100% sure why, but I find that the p pumps have a tendency to haze more than us ve guys do at an idle.

I believe it is because that most p pump guys either run too low or too high of timing and don't play with it as much, because it is so much harder to play with the timing.

Other than that... it shouldn't be that much of a difference, but maybe even cleaner while driving.

From what I've heard the 7 holers still lay down in the top end with the p pumps. It seems to be the 24v that do good with 7 hole injectors

I saved the 7X.010s from my 91.5. As soon as I get my health back I plan on putting them in my 92 along with the LPPLP. The only thing that will be different with this installation will be the turbo and exhaust.
