Does anyone notice a difference in mileage when running on the cruise control versus just driving by your foot?

Yeah,,, sure do! With my trucks long legs I end up hauling serious a$$ and don't even know it. It's like my foot remembers where it used to be when I had a A727. Cruising at 70-75 is a dash of throttle( breathing on it) lol.
My horn/cruise control thingy is in need of replacement. I know I could get better Mpg with it functioning. Some say a alert driver can do better without. Idk

I never drove my 93 (w250, getrag, 290,000+ kilometers, stock timing) with the pump at stock since my dad bought it already turned up (not sure how far on the fuel screw but the star wheel was about 2 turns from bottom) managed 22mpg once. Averaged 18ish in summer 15ish in winter. Same mileage with stock turbo and wh1c/hx40 hybrid (that includes all fuelling upgrades) with the s362 averaged high 14's low 15's in winter mid 16's in summer
