Do I have a set of NON IC'ed DVs?

Postby BC847 » Sun Oct 06, 2013 6:34 pm

Stock/OEM IC'ed DVs on the top, Those I'm wondering about on the bottom . . . .

Stock/OEM IC'ed DV plunger on the right. On the left, those I'm wondering about.

The thing that's throwing me is the "Retraction-Piston" on the plunger of those I'm thinking are NON IC'ed DVs. (That Retraction-Piston is what the P-pump crowd have lazer-cut and such).

Can anyone with Sho'nuf NON IC'ed DVs confirm what I have?

Here is the thing I have noticed in the last few pictures...the Non-IC DV's in BC's pics have a ridge between the "flutes" and the 45deg. cut on them. The one Ellis posted, doesn't.

Thanks guys. 8)

I may end up swapping the full-cut plungers and seats of the IC'ed DVs, . . . into those longer bodies.

That delivery valve was pulled from a non intercooled pump,I'm on the wrong page with you fellers or something.....

Is the one with the extra land i/c or non i/c? :/

That's what I needed to see. I apparently do NOT have NON IC'ed DVs.

Neither. Perhaps for a different application (other than the Dodge/Cummins setups).

Again, thanks. 8)

Wonder if that is where your missing fuel is

Quite possibly.

I've most recently come to the realization that my driving the AFC with that from the primary turbo may also be contributing to . . . the delay in the ramping-up of power when one launches with 25psi . . . . up to full boost. The first 60ish feet if you will. The other side of that coin is that it helps clean up no, to low boost smoke.

Crap. :shaking:

Side note,I'm in the process of detuning mine,I've tired of it all. Back to pulling power......

Only a matter of time..........That's a decent amount of miles on a Dana 70 (limited slip I assume) taking that much brunt.
