i got pulled over, exesive noice, no ticket though almost wish i had, would of been easyer, but know i have to get the exaust inspected, i think im going to trough a muffler down my 7 inch stack
any other ideas, like the sock down the pipe idea :lol:

You can buy "stack mufflers" from Chrome Room on e-bay. They fit 5" pipes, just an insert with holes. Maybe drop one into the bottom of your stacks, if you have 5" pipe?

i have a 7 inch so i have been looking for a round muffle that will fit into the stack

Just stick a bullet muffler from summit inline in the exhaust. They are really free flowing. If you just want a visual muffler, get a glasspack and it will burn out in no time. Looks there....

you must have some pos cops where you live. flowmaste makes some outlaw mufflers that well really dont muffel at all and the even make them in 5 and 6"

ya so much for a noise check those :evil: they riped the plats righof my truck because the left tie rod end had a little bit of play, and the emergancy break dodnt work, he wouldnt even let me drive home, and he didn't even say anything about the noise

what you dont have police that are ass
this how ordeal is now going to cost me
220.00 for new pitman arm and tie rod end
60.00 for a new safty
and 75 for towing
you know i dont think that cop acualy relize how much crap like this realy cost
i also lost half a days worth of work
lifes intresting then you die

im glad i live in podunk the only thing the cops around here worry bout is bumper height hell half the cars on the round around here dont have turn signals brake lights mufflers or legal tags :pottytrain:

LOL were I live If you cant park your car under your 80 k truck there is something wrong with ya . I have 3 4x4's and no lifts. I get razzed all the time, you should see the trucks around here. I have a 2006 3/4 tonne Cummings 4x4 and I swear some of the trucks door sill plates are at my window height plus the smoke Doesn't seem to be bugging them anymore. woot 435's ...here I come guess they are to bizzy catching real criminals. Heh heh I probably spoke wayyyy to soon Kinda funny really I live close to a rail crossing guess if they bust me for noise i can always sick em on the darn train and the whistle
