Hey ZJ, WELCOME to our forum. 8)

I'd be interested in the same info. I can't say however, that we get much chatter about the VW (4cyl) pumps.

It would be neat if we could come up with a list of parts from the higher RPM capable 4-cylinder VEs, that could be interchanged with the 6-cylinder pumps (for the purpose of higher performance).

if/when I can remember..... I can get part numbers for the "new high speed" camplate rollers (ceramic coated or something of the likes) and the high speed return spring p/n.

Just curious, how many rpms are you wanting to run ?
96 converted to ve pump because p-pumps are overrated, always testing/playing with parts to get it running better.

I think about rpms to 5000rpm on 12mm pump.
I have numbers for standard rollers 1 467 010 535
original 12mm sprongs 1 467 010 495 the same like 10mm pump( i think somebody use them for high rpms )
12mm rotorhead like mine is 1 468 334 870.
So that long springs are used in perkins engin rev to somethng about 4500. So not bad and i think that engine have smaller nozzles than mine 0.260. I read that short aprings are not best for 12mm , make less power over 4000rpm.
And i need number of that

The part number you list for standard cam rollers do not look like the two piece rollers you have pictured. They are for 'solid' one piece rollers. Unknown what application they are from, but they are what I use when I build a pump. The plunger return springs I use are what you listed in your first post. They are known as 'high rpm' springs. Again, they are unknown application. They are also the same length as Dodge springs.

Why use standard stock pieces and not the high rpm solid rollers? Is this a stock restoration?

I have a pump with the double rollers. 0 460 426 088. I have no Idea what or where to find the roller part numbers.

Pump numbers 0 460 426 218 / 219 are for 3900rpm applications, might be worth looking into what rollers they use.

Bill.......I was told that there are "high speed, ceramic coated rollers". Are those it? Or was my shop guy telling me about something new?

I can't say. These look to be the same material as the two piece rollers. Everything is top secret to pump shops unfortunately, so getting the part number from him is probly not gonna happen?? FWIW, the plunger springs and cam rollers I use, Scheid uses them for all their pumps.

If I called him back up, I could probably get the p/n he is claiming. It is just remembering during the week.

I finally use that 12mm rotorhead and problem is with high rpm. On 5th gear there are no power over 4200. It look like less fuel in rotorhead or springs must be more harder. What do you think where is the problem. There are people woho rev 12mm pump to 5500+ and power do not go down.
