Timing adjustments

Postby 89cumburb » Tue Feb 25, 2014 6:30 am

I have a 93 intercooled engine I'm doin some work to. I don't know how much to advance the timing. I was going to do 1/8 but now I'm starting to wonder if I should do more 1 tooth or more. I have 5x14 injectors 60# valve springs 3800 gov spring h1c with 60mm compressor housing and a hx55 I'm going to be twinning it.

If you've got the front cover off anyway then go for the tooth skipped. Then pull the pump as far away from the head as it'll go. That's roughly the same as a 1/8th inch bump. Then you can go from there
