155* injectors

Postby DodgeFreak » Wed Feb 26, 2014 10:26 am

I bought nozzles that I'm going to set up. they are a 155* nozzle going into a 92 cummins. What all will I need to do to make them perform the best. thin washers, up the pop pressure for better atomization? bump the timing a tooth.

As of right now the pump is maxed with a dennyt stage 2 pin. turbo is stock as of right now until I get my 351 machine work ironed out.

More timing will make them spray outside the bowl I'd think. Thin washers may help some.

Thinnest washers available, mild timing, and bump pressure up a little bit.

That's what I was figuring but I haven't really delt with these before. I figured I'd bump them up to what PODs are and try it...I can always pull them out and reset them.

I got them cheap enough. They are DDP stage 4's and I really didn't know they was a 155 until after I got them and was looking them over. I've read they are a good nozzle but I didn't do to much digging on the spray. I'm planning on building the engine to a marine bowl later on but I need to get it up and running in my truck first.
