Yes the s300g is in all reality a 200 the covers are completely different sizes htt did not offer a 300g and can't say they do to this day.
RC do you really have an inferiority complex or do you just like to TRY and look smart to the site filled with primarily newbs, it's really quite insulting the things that you post sometimes that counter to common knowledge but "your right"

Op call ED get a rebuild kit for $200 and do it your self no problem (btw you have a common s300) oh and Chris a real pro not a keyboard jockey like RC will tell you the same.

Hey, Pot.

Sounds like he was just making sure the dude called the source to make sure what turbo he had to me, roughly what you were saying, but he wasn't being a dickhead about it. :?

The op mentioned that there was wheel contact and needed wheels. Buying just a rebuild kit in itself is not going to fix the issue.

wheels cost roughly 200 a piece, plus the $200 rebuild kit equals about $600. Assuming that he doesn't need compressor work. The cost of $730 for HTT themselves to go through it is about the best option. Chris in no way is the most reasonable to do work. Chris knows his stuff as good or if not better than any other turbo guy out there, but he is VERY proud of his work.

So before you start having an issue with me and start slamming me again... please do the op poster a favor and read the entire situation. Most 1st gen.org folks don't frequent some of the other forums due to the attitude. ;)

1stgen.org is also, FAR from a bunch of newbs.

Damn I didn't mean to start a fight. The turbo has kinda went on the back burner now ive developed a fuel problem. I installed a set of 5x.18's and now I cant get the truck to run. Im thinking my lift pump is almost out. Ive bled the injectors for hours and still have air, and the primer on the lift pump doesn't seem to be working, its way to easy to push. The last thing im gonna do is change the filter and check pressure but ive got a feeling ill be ordering a hvlp lift pump from you this week rccummins.

Not sure if you know or not.... but if the lift pump is on the lobe of the cam, it won't allow you to prime it. Try bumping the engine over a few times here and there to see if the lift pump primer changes its tension.

Did anything else change during the time?

Sadly I knew it but didn't think about it, funny part is i tried a few different times i guess i just caught it off the cam everyone. I guess I got lucky and finally got the thing to fire. After 3 hours of bleeding, 2 dead optima batteries, and a lot of cussing it started. Ive never had one so hard to bleed the air out. There has to be something causing air to get in for it to be that bad. Now that ive got it running I can step back, calm down and start investigating the whole fuel system.

Yea.... I've never actually had to bleed my truck after an injector swap. I've just been able to crack a few for a few seconds and then tighten them up and fire her off.
