dont know if it was gasser or duramutt but he pulled me for a split second then got off the frwy

my dumb ass was cruisin along in 5th over @ 1500 w/o the ksb activated when he pulled up on the right of me and nailed it

i rolled into it (fogged the guy behind me), hit the spliter switch, but straight 5th was still too tall and it didnt go anywheres

hate it when that happens...

dont really know what pete was referring to there?

but....

UPDATE -

Image

got the prxb on there (4" donaldson muff too)

built a 1/4" thick alum plate to mount everything to

water/meth pump as well (that way i can lose the bed and i dont have to remount all this stuff)

the brake stops the truck really well, still have not towed but i am sure it will work great

sounds like a big rig when you turn the brake off

never dyno'ed it but it did feel like it lost a little power when i installed the brake AND the muffler

egts went up another 50-100° too

even just at cruise

if i had it to do over (which i do now cuz i got another truck) it would/will be a tuff decision...

i am sure that 4" BD flows circles around this thing

but if i am gonna run a muffler it may not matter

what do you guys think???

What I was referring to was your buddies bumper stickers, Kick Tanks ***. ;)

How does the brake work way down there? I thought they had to be up close to the turbo for best performance?

60 psi is 60 psi

you could put it behind the muffler if ya wanted to but i dont think the muffler would like to see that kind of pressure

it brakes really good, all the way down to 700 rpm

if i let it pull the motor down to 700 in 4th and downshift to 3rd it will bark the tires if i am not careful

yea, that is at 1100 rpm (in 3rd)
