I used to get this done to all my gasser big block motors
I am not sure this will fit 1 st gen block but sure would be nice

4 Inch lift
Bilsteins shocks 5125
VE moderately molested
Dana 80
ultra wheel rims Type 164
ASA pipe BHAF 19037
Outerwears prefilter
A A nv4500
South bend Flywheel and clutch 13125-OK

Stock 1993 4x4 Reg cab LE 5 speed

i imagine it would fit but dont think it would be needed unless you was tryin to spin like 5k plus.
92 w250, NV4500, D80, maxed pump, AFC gone, extended fuel screw, more to come.

yes true, but if i had my engine out i would do it just to strengthen block due to Cough all the HP we all are tryin to make :) plus if we are draggin around bigger loads it would be a bit of insurance for the price

i am not going to run one with my ve power effort but i do have a haisley one for my p pump engine

Did you read the fine print?

"Please note: Custom Girdle pictured, actual girdle will NOT integrate the main caps into the design structure. "

Not sure what good it would be without that feature as then all it would be is a block spacer or crank spacer/baffle?

That is a factory Cummins part, they refer to it as a block stiffener. 8)
