I wish.... the pump I have to put it on completely needs to be gone through... it done got blowed up from the previous owner. If the carnage is too bad.. the h/r will go on my pump. And then I'll REALLY hope it holds together.

I will add... the Dana 80 is at full rebuild (except the power lok). No power issues there. It is merely my driveline angle. Coming off the case, it has a 9 degree difference between the case and driveline. That's over double the maximum recommended u joint angle for drivelines.

Speaking of something... Does anyone know the maximum number in degrees one can tilt an engine backwards. Without causing front shaft/bearing issues in the trans and oiling issues in the engine?

What are you at right now? I'm not an expert but oiling issues occur when the pickup isn't in the oil. Since the pickup on our engines is at the rear I feel like you could get away with a decent amount of angle on it without problems

May also want to look into larger lines with the smaller injectors. Just a theory.

Not a bad idea, actually.

How will larger lines help? It will only flow what goes out thru the injectors. I understand if you have big injectors and H&R setup it will get the fuel to and out of the injectors faster, but see no benefits to large lines with small injectors.

Just enough power to break everything behind the crankshaft.

I know this is apples and oranges but, on our tractor I have been told if you go too big with the lines (120) you lose horsepower over 093 lines. Not sure what size stock lines are but something to keep in mind.

You have more "squish" so in theory you have less strain on the rotor.

If you go with bigger lines be prepared for the possibility of a lope (they aren't fun to drive with)

What Jon said ^^^^^^^. However, I won't be going with bigger lines. It is a good idea, but I've got to face reality and well... it just won't happen (me being not that ambitious).

What "squish"? Rule #1 of hydraulics, fluids don't compress, that's how hydraulic systems work. ;)

It's not as simple as that though... because if that were 100% and the lines stayed pressurized.... one wouldn't notice a lope idle.
