dual feeder intake plate

Postby v8coupe » Mon May 26, 2014 11:16 am

I have been digging around on many build threads and have seen a few trucks that have 2 inlets going into the intake plate. I've also seen round inline heating grids. Is this something worth looking into for a VE? I'll be building a full set of tubing for an intercooler so that would be idea timing.

I will be building a twin ram set up for my pile of parts once it comes time. Research I have done says the few dollars and hours in the fab shop pays off.....

That m&h one lets you keep the stock grid heater. I wouldn't get the GDP grid heater unless you have a 3rd or 4th gen 6.7. It just ends up being more work than it's worth when there's stuff readily available that uses the stock stuff

As for keeping a grid heater, I've read where people will run the stock heater on one of the runners and use a delete plate on the second.
