64mm VGT.

451ve I believe.

Seems to still spin after getting roasted when my engine died.

Plan on I/c or non I/c pistons with the next engine?

Marine bowl pistons.... extrude honed 370s will be AWESOME

I/c bowl... 5x14 SAC injectors, maybe a 5x16

They're going to be standard intercooled pistons.

5x14's sound tiny.

Hey now... 5x14 may sound tiny, but I like my stuff clean. What size were you thinking?

Is it worth to balance and polish the crank or connecting rods while I have everything apart?

What about any sort of coating on the pistons?

I'm thinking I'm going to end up with .020-over non-intercooled pistons?

Stock piston-rings still the best?

Hell, injectors are the easy part...

From the little bit of dabbling over on CompD I've read one person that used to coat pistons doesn't anymore because he didn't see any gains. I don't know if I'd coat the pistons. Polishing rods and crank I would but I also polished a tb for a 96 dodge intrepid lol.....I'd balance the rods and the pistons and the rod and pistons together.

My thoughts on coated pistons...........on a normal engine you melt the pistons after so many seconds at extreme heats, so you coat the pistons. Now you'll stick the rings just a few seconds later. No gain.

So what should it cost to have a crankshafted balanced and polished?
