I run the BD pin. It is the most correct cut pin that I've been around..... it is also the most affordable.

Just rotate your stock pin 180* and see how you like that first. I have a Denny T stage 1 and it is only slightly more aggressive than when I had the stock pin rotated.

Don't just randomly rotate it. Look at the pin and put the deepest side of the ramp towards the front of the truck. That's the best fueling on it.

^^^this^^^ On most trucks, it doesn't make much of a difference though.

You can rotate the stock pin to the deepest part for free. I f you want more you can also grind it for free. If that is not something you want to do you can pay for an aftermarket one if you'd like. It doesn't cost you anything to rotate the stock one and try it out, you can always return it to stock if you don't like the results.

Even if you grind the stocker you can turn it to the opposite side to go back to stock. ;)

Thanks guys for the info. the stock one was ground by the last owner, but its a mess! seems I have no top end at all. that's why I was going to get a after market one, want a proper pin

The pin that rides on the pin  doesn't go any farther than 1/2 way across the bore anyway, a deeper cut than that doesn't do anything but promote fuel leakage through the AFC.

The way to get the deepest grind actually requires you to grind on the deeper side of the stock pin, so if you do go back you'll have to run it on the shallow side.

If you don't have any top end even with a ground pin, I'd look elsewhere. Does the pin have actual marks through it's travel showing it's being contacted the whole way?

I grinded my stock pin on my truck and seems to be fine. I'm not looking to roll coal at all and grinding it the way I did keeps smoke at a very light haze in my 5 speed. Makes good power and I beat my buddies 1st gen with a stage 2 pin.

I had p pump trucks before this one and I always grinded my fuel plate on them because it seemed any company I used just made them dump as much fuel as possible and truck looked like a train. Seems to be the same way with first gens too.

Anyone running a M and H pin? Considering one of their M2 pins right now, or should I just go BD? Truck is currently a auto, but going 5-speed.

I think Ellis runs a M2 pin.
