Xdp open house....

Postby Dan NJ » Mon Sep 15, 2014 6:22 am

So I live 5 min from xdp and went to their open house and spoke with a rep from BD diesel. I was asking his opinions on turbos and what I should run on my truck, I basically told him I want the most usable hp with minimal smoke. He recommended a Killer B with 5x14 inj and the high volume low pressure pump from hungry diesel. Now he was outside wearing a bd diesel shirt but was not at their tent. So if he really was a rep is questionable so I apologize to anyone from bd if this information seems a bit far fetched that I receive.

Do not get a turbo from BD. They screwed a friend of mine. He installed a Killer B. 5 miles later it locked up. They claim he didn't pre-oil the turbo before install and said warranty was denied. This was the 3rd or 4th turbo he had installed. No other blew up.

Damn man that's horrible! But was his truck able to spool that? I've been looking at d tech turbo too, I'm really unsure on what to use on my truck. I'm real green to the ve pump I want to run somewhere around 62-64mm turbo n 5x14's. I was reading reviews I think on the dtech 64/71/14 and guys were saying it was good on the street with 5 speed

I say get the 62fmw from the hungry diesel. Quick spool, and more air than the other 362's on the market

62fmw actually spools better.... we now offer a 62fmw/68/.80 NON GATED for $1250.00.

That 60/68/.70 is a non divided housing that does ok for what it is, but spools slower due to the non divided housing.

None that make sense... only flow charts I've been able to find show it in different units. It calculates over to 74 (some say 73) pounds per minute worth of air. Other Borg 62 wheels are between 66 and 72... and the 63 wheel is at 75. The s360 flows 70.
