About to do an gauage set in my truck before I do a big tow. Where is the easiest place to install the EGT probe?

Yup, that's the best spot, it's in the rear runner, (there is a web between the front and back halves) and the rear 3 run a little hotter than the front 3 so you get a better reading there. 8)

cool was right where I was thinking. easy to get at, easy to cleanout with manifold still in truck.
