Got the donor crankshaft cleaned up. As received, it had some boogers of corrosion on the journals. Sanding/polishing it away reveals a little pitting. I don't have a proper micrometer to measure them accurately but, using some relatively good calipers finds them looking like 0.010" ought to clean them up. 0.020" at the most.

The front crankshaft seal will need a Speedy-Sleeve.

The rear crankshaft seal . . . . dunno. Polishing might clean it up enough.

Moving on to my head, removing the valves finds them well worn. The intake-valves all present with notable pounding type wear? See the ridge?

The exhaust-valves are done.

All the valve-stem tips present with visible wear at the rocker-arm interface.

The head itself is in the cleaning vat.
