Super B questions

Postby Dan NJ » Wed Oct 22, 2014 9:26 am

So I recently got a super b in exchange for doing some rockers on a friends 2nd gen. My truck has new stock injectors in it and I was thinking about running the afc delete with the super b, anyone have any info? Too much fuel? Too smokey?

Don't do an afc delete. Especially if you want to run a big charger. Remember that smoke is heavy, and actually hurts spool up

AFC deletes are a joke, before you spend the money, but want to see for yourself how it works, you can pull the AFC lever out of the pump top for $free.99. I pulled the lever out once, just to see what all the hype was about...turned it into a total turd. Lost all the spool, lost 8lbs of boost, and just made it a smokey mess. Having a functioning AFC will help with tuning and drivability hand over fist.

I don't think the afc delete is a good idea...

As for the turbo, as long as you have the super b and not the super b special, it should be awesome. I've never ran one as a single, but you shouldn't have to ever get rid of it if you upgrade your fueling because it's an awesome secondary for twins.

Like stated above. Don't delete the afc.

As far as a superB… best little single a guy could ask for on a first gen. Make for a hRd hitting mid range that improves on a hx35 for all around cooling and performance.
