To elaborate a little more, I am happy with how the 370's perform. Burn really clean (depending on pump tuning), and will move some fuel when called for. I wanted to stay with Bosch for injectors. When I decide to go bigger, I'll get these honed out.

Just got my 16cm exhaust housing installed from ptoombs. Just as everyone said, not a huge difference in power, although it is noticeable. With the 16cm housing, the turbo lights in 5th at 50-55 and pulls all the way to defuel vs. lighting at 60-65 and pulling. Definitely more drivable like this. On a side note, I made a 180 mile round trip the other day and used less than 1/4 tank of fuel which rough calculates to around 24 mpg. I don't think I want to mess with a fuel pin or springs just yet as I like that fuel economy. I will see what the exhaust housing does to economy if anything and go from there.

Glad it made a difference for you. I went from a 21 housing to that and it was real noticeable.

Just enough power to break everything behind the crankshaft.

Did it make ahuge difference? No. But it made enough of a difference and moved the powerband down the rpm range far enough that now I don't feel the need that I have to get a 3200rpm spring.

Adjusted the valves this morning to .08 and .18. Shows 86xxx miles on the ODO and the previous owner swears they are original. My guess is the valves have never been adjusted. I never thought a First Gen could run that smooth. Was definitely worth an hour of my time.

A governor spring and a fuel pin will have little to no effect on your fuel economy.... Its your right foot that controls that.

I did mine when I got the truck at 189k, I don't know the last time they had been done, but it was over 7 or 8 years. I only needed to adjust 2 or 3 of them. 8)
