Picked up my intercooler and piping. Gonna order the reducing elbow now and some clamps. Hopefully it will be in before the holidays but I won't hold me breath.

Well, I am a little behind schedule, but I finally got around to installing the Second Gen intercooler. Pretty straight forward. I haven't taken it for a test run yet, but I will report back on performance when I do. Thanks for all the info no this thread. PICS!!!!!!!!

Finally got the 2 longer bolts for the intake manifold today. Driving impressions? I don't have an EGT gauge so I'm not sure on that end. But seat of the pants feels like it is all on the top end. I goes from 60-defuel in 5th gear a whole lot quicker. I think I even gained a few MPH on top. I am happy with the install and I am sure once I upgrade the turbo it will be much better.

So the truck has 3.54 gears and a getreg. As far as I know the pump and injectors are stock. As well, it is the stock H1C turbo. Only real mods are a BHAF and a Beans Diesel fuel sump. What wouod be the next step as far as performance parts in everyone's opinion? I am thinking governor spring and Denny T fuel pin, as well as a 16cm housing and a Gillett Diesel 62mm housing. Thoughts?

I'd strongly advise against a denny pin. They are cut deeper than the pump can utilize and they eventually cause o ring leaks. Not on all trucks, but a high percentage of them.

What would you recommend then? Not just in a fuel pin, but as far as turbo upgrades and fueling upgrades.

BD pin is still (currently) the best made pin, but they have sky rocketed in price.

Turbo and fueling upgrades..... pm me and we can discuss some options. I'll re read through this whole thread tomorrow and post my recommendations.

Just my $0.02, but 370's perform great in a NON-IC engine ;)

It is the pistons that make it a non i/c vs i/c that matter. Injectors need to match the pistons
