Are you talking about housings? If so, go back a few months on here, and look for my thread called 'hotside porting'...some good info.

I didnt. I got a housing from DPuckett (12cm) and he was going to port it for me. Havent looked at yet to see if he got the time, though I think he did. Im going to port my manifold to match the turbo when I swap it out.

Why do you say damn it? You should be able to do some crazy porting with that off.

yea, i dont think the gasket likes lots of water AND lots of boost

sure went good for a minute tho...

lol

didnt blow it bad (no oil in the rad), just lifted the head enough for it to leak a little

rough idle, about 50 rpm lower than normal - that is what prompted me to check the dip stick and under the rad cap

dip stick tube looked like it had a yeast infection

i drove it 50 miles to my buddies shop. big shop, lots of equip (and spare hands if req). just putted along in 5th, no od, no boost, 1800 rpm

prolly wasnt all that great on the tappets and camshaft

good thing these things dont have 300 psi on the seat

doubt the bearings knew any difference

hope so anyways...

guess i will start a new thread for what to do next

don
